Found out this works with my Xbox/Playstation consoles and not just PC. Much cheaper alternative to the Xbox seagate or PlayStation hard drives out there, and works the exact same.

Needed a drive for an over the air dvr. Affordable for space, quick write for need. Nothing special, but 5 stars because its easy to use and would use it for many other purposes.

This unit does all I need to back up my computer's files. I'm not using the auto-backup function but simply doing it manually. It's too new to me to determine it's long term reliability but, so far, it meets my needs and is a very compact unit that I can easily move to backup not only my computer but also my wife;s.

This USB Hard Drive is very light, very small, and very easy to use. The price was good, delivery to the store very prompt and pick-up was so well organized that it was actually a pleasant experience. It is too early to say how this hard drive will perform over the long term, but initial use has been excellent.

Now I have enough external storage to help me manage computer files:)

The drive works well with Windows 10, and I was able to plug it into both a laptop and a USB hub with no issues. I had problems getting the Western Digital Discovery Tool to install on Windows 10, and I ended up abandoning that installation. Fortunately, the software is not a requirement for getting the drive to work, and, since I just needed the drive for additional storage space, I have not needed to retry the installation.

This is small and convenient to take with you if you need to, not like the big clunky one that just went bad on me. easy to use.

The quality is stable, the speed is good, and the volume is appropriate, making it difficult to detect obvious shortcomings. The price is slightly higher.

I've been a WD user for year and they've never let me down. This little gem is a perfect alternative to all those thumb drives. I keep three. One is for writing projects. One is for music and a third for just in case. It's a great product at a fair price.

Price amazing easy to install and never get stock or slow

I use this to save photos and documents that would otherwise big down my computer. Easy to set up and easy to access. It's small and doesn't take much space. Got it for a great price on Deal of the Day, but it's worth it's regular cost.
