I specifically purchased the mac version of this drive, as I did not want to deal with reformatting, etc. So, I basically plugged it in and Finder found it. I moved my music with minor problems. 2TB is probably more than i need, but it was a good buy...

Since I purchased it, it seems to be quite noisy at times even when it's idle. It still works as expected, but I'm always worried if it will eventually fail. This is only a backup drive and is rarely connected only when I need to retrieve/backup files. I would recommend this only if it's on sale and for minimal use.
