Got this to take some things off my Mac and it works great. There is a lot of storage!

When you need lots of storage you can't beat a good external HD for a duplicate copy just in case something happens

Good buy lots of storage and helped me keep my ps4 functional as space dwindled.

I’m not sure how well this works because my brother helped me. I bought this to store photos and videos from my old computer that I had to get rid of. He said it was fast and simple.

This is a good hard drive for a PC that has the 'Backup and Restore' feature in Control Panel. It works for Windows 10 too, just note that in Control Panel it's labeled "Backup and Restore (Windows 7). I use it to perform a daily 'full backup' of my PC and it never fails.

This is an absolute must have for all users. Photographers, get your hands on this ASAP!!

Easy to use, no problems and much more space than a USB drive

I got this 2TB external hard drive primarily to edit video without clogging up my laptop with gigs of footage and this one works great. It was easy to format it for Macs, downloads fast, and I haven’t had a problem with it at all. It’s a little bigger and heavier than the Dell 1TB I used to use but I don’t mind.

Purchased to use for capture storage on my Series X, no issues thus far.

Used to back up the documents on my desktop. Since my computer was very old and this was on sale I purchased two. My son has the other one. Good thing I did use WD Easystore external hard drive because my desktop computer died. Very easy to transfer to the new computer. Best purchase ever!

This has been a fantastic item. It has enabled me to have sufficient storage.

My Airport has been acting obnoxious. It sets up its own wi fi network to do its backups, and the past week or so that network hasn’t been discoverable so it stopped doing backups…I always hated the thing anyway. So I had to go to Target this morning which is in the same mall as Best Buy. After Target I went to Best Buy and asked a helpful salesman about something to do time machine backups. He pointed me to a rack of Western Digital “Easystore”portable disks, ranging from 1 to I think 6 TB. I bought the 2 TB. It took a visit to Google, but I was able to connect it and reformat it so it would serve as a Time Machine disk, then replace the Airport in Time Machine with the Easystore. It is happily backing up my iMac as we speak. This is a huge improvement over their old “Passport” which I never really liked. We’ll see how it does, but it should function exactly as set up in Time Machine. So happy with Best Buy, have had good luck every time I’ve gone there.
