She understands the need for regular backups, and this does the trick. I have one for my iMac, which integrates with Time Machine. She is using it with the included backup software on Windows 10.

Much needed for avid gamers

The directions for hook-up are very simple, and I have not had issues thus far. Just remember the device must be plugged directly in the USB port of your console, otherwise your console will not detect it.

WD Drives are always a safe bet for backup

Each time I have a new project, I purchase a drive. I never like having everything in just one drive so I split things up and always have data redundancy by coping the files to more than one WD drive.

Good - Works as expected.

Computer (Windows and Ubuntu Linux operating system) recognizes it right away. I only use it to backup and save my files and do not use the software that comes with it but it works well. Make sure you get it when it's on sale to save some money.
