This has led to massive data loss on one of these drives. Interestingly enough, I've never had the problem happen on my Linux laptop. I hope no one else is experiencing this issue!

This works great, because it is SSD you can find the files you want in a flash. I have windows 7 and the wife has 10, it works great with either one, and for the cost I couldn't pass up the price. You get a lot for the price.

I thought I would be able to save the data from my laptop, but it was gone. Hard drive couldn't do anything. I ended up returning the hard drive. It might work for others, but based on my experience, it didn't help.
