Bought it to go with my Mediasonic Digital Convert

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this hard dive to record over-the-air tv channels with my Mediasonic Digital Converter Box DVR, model HW150PVR. My first question was, "since this external hard drive gets it's power from the USB port, will the Mediasonic power this hard drive..?" The answer is yes. Second, will the NTSC format of the Easystore 2TB work with the Mediasonic...? NO The Mediasonic can format the hardrive to FAT 32. I went into the Mediasonic setup and formatted the hard drive to FAT 32, and it seems to work fine. Now I can record all of my old Saturday Morning Westerns, and watch them later in the week.
