It even slipped and hit the floor (short fall - cat to blame) and still is working just fine. Although I wouldn't recommend you test that yourself.

Drive works

It worked at first but quit after awhile. I tried reinstalling it to no avail. I looked at the community and it looks like it is a common problem.

Transfers start fast then work at very slow speeds

After an initial burst; speeds seldom top 57MB/sec and are usually much slower than that. It might be a very good drive for quick small file transfers where it could transfer at over 100MB/sec (with 1GB or less total file size).

It is worth to get the better brand and not have to pay someone $400 to restore your docs because of a failed external drive. Haven’t had one fail yet
