Fast, easy, reliable storage. Great price for 2TB

Exactly what I was looking for! Easy to use, easy to store and slim and sleek. I also purchased one as a Christmas gift along with a hard drive case for extra protection.

Has worked out O.K. for transferring files from my old computer to the new one and backing up my photo albums on the old unit. Will for long term need to upgrade to an SSD portable for use on my old and my new computer.

WD is a good brand, the quality is very good, very easy to handle and requires the minimum of technical knowledge for children or older adults to use it, good price, good store, I recommend this product.

This is my first purchase of an external hard drive. So far so good. Was easy to install and best of all it is small enough that it doesn't take up too much space on your work desk. I was worried that I would have this extra "black box" sitting in front of me, not the case. Very pleased

Super easy to use. Took about 5 minutes the first time I plugged it in for all the drives to be updated, but since then, I can just plug it in and transfer info. Have had it for about 5 months. Plus, it is pretty fast. No complaints from me and I would buy again if I ever needed more than 2T of hard drive.

This unit does all I need to back up my computer's files. I'm not using the auto-backup function but simply doing it manually. It's too new to me to determine it's long term reliability but, so far, it meets my needs and is a very compact unit that I can easily move to backup not only my computer but also my wife;s.

Tbh, when I got my computer, I didn’t know what to get for it or who to use it properly buuut I did know one thing, gaming! so when I realized that computers needed storage/space for certain games I did some research; including some amazing reasonable prices, this hard drive from WD was the perfect match! I have all the games I wanted plus some family photos and scrapbooking Ideas! The hard drive makes it easy for me to continue my hobbies and enjoyments hassle free. Recommended !

I was having all my files from 3 very old computers transferred. Agent Ellis assisted me. He was very helpful and friendly. He explained the amount of storage and how to access the files. This product is perfect and just what I needed.

Works great. Games run perfectly off this external. Keep more room on your SSD and offload your PS4 content onto this. Even TLOU2 60 fps mode will work with the game installed on this external. Western Digital make reliable HDDs.

I needed some extra storage for my MacBook and this 2TB external portable hard drive is exactly what I was needing. This item has met my expectations as for as memory size, speed and I like that it is portable so that I can use it with other devices as well. I recommend this external portable hard drive for sure.

This USB Hard Drive is very light, very small, and very easy to use. The price was good, delivery to the store very prompt and pick-up was so well organized that it was actually a pleasant experience. It is too early to say how this hard drive will perform over the long term, but initial use has been excellent.

The drive works well with Windows 10, and I was able to plug it into both a laptop and a USB hub with no issues. I had problems getting the Western Digital Discovery Tool to install on Windows 10, and I ended up abandoning that installation. Fortunately, the software is not a requirement for getting the drive to work, and, since I just needed the drive for additional storage space, I have not needed to retry the installation.
