    I have an old external hard drive that's only a 750 gig and this 2 terabyte hard drive is drastically more convenient to keep in my backpack. The narrow build and it only being the size of a standard bi-fold wallet certainly makes it indeed portable.

    I'm just hoping my important information would not get deleted from this device due to I have installed software for a MacBook laptop and well what about if I want to view my information on a Windows computer I don't know if it would let me or it will want me to install software again and then I would loose all my data already on it!! So I don't know I made the right choice by purchasing this. Does anyone know if that would happen if I were to do that??
