This is my 3rd WD external hard drive I use for back up. (This one for me, one about 2 years ago for my wife, and my first one about 3 years ago - That one fell on a ceramic surface from about 6 feet - that's on me). The units are fast, plug-n-play on both Mac and Windows, and have never given me a problem. You can't beat these units for the price!

Brought it home and put it right to work. Very simple to use and works great. I'm very serious in that it took less than 2 minutes to be up and running. This is my second one, my first I use for a recovery drive and this one is for data backup.

Very easy to setup and use. I am constantly on the road for my job. While I think it is overkill. I use this drive only for OS and computer driver recovery. I like the cloud software, file encryption for software and the fact that it does not slow down my machine when I plug it in.

Found out this works with my Xbox/Playstation consoles and not just PC. Much cheaper alternative to the Xbox seagate or PlayStation hard drives out there, and works the exact same.

This external hard drive is compact and easy to use. It is powered by the same USB connection that is used to transfer data to and from your computer and does not need a separate charger. It has worked well for the short time that I have owned it. The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have not owned it long enough to comment on its long-term reliability.

Tbh, when I got my computer, I didn’t know what to get for it or who to use it properly buuut I did know one thing, gaming! so when I realized that computers needed storage/space for certain games I did some research; including some amazing reasonable prices, this hard drive from WD was the perfect match! I have all the games I wanted plus some family photos and scrapbooking Ideas! The hard drive makes it easy for me to continue my hobbies and enjoyments hassle free. Recommended !

I needed extra storage in my Xbox One S & saw this WD easy store external HD was on sale. The formatting set up was one & done. Literally plug in & push a button. I'm very pleased with WD easy store & will be purchasing another in the near future. I highly recommend purchasing one.

Used this to store pictures and videos that are taking up storage on my 500 GB laptop. Works great, have been able to open and view MP4 files with no issues. Pretty decent price compared to alternatives as well.

Bought for my son with the Xbox Series S, less expensive than buying the Series X, and he loves it! Works great with the Xbox Series S, highly recommend. I bought and picked up through BB, didn’t want to buy through Amazon because you sometimes end up getting a fake or returned item.

I've only had this under a couple years. It's almost full already. I haven't moved it around a lot. I am always nervous the USB cable will cause problems. It is a great tool. Transfer speed is as close to my internal. I need another one of these. I am afraid to go past 2tb now because the more data on it, the harder to initialize. The more data you can loose. Back on topic so far is a great product. I used to horde files and collect then I find that it all needs a backup of a backup. Kinda waiting for a better online solution to store this much data as if it was internal.

This works great and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend.

This drive was a godsend. I was notified that my school google drive exceeded its limit and I needed a fast solution. I easily moved all my google files to the drive for safe keeping. I carry it with me to use at home, work or school.

This was the first external HD I've had to purchase and it couldn't have been easier to set up. I needed more storage for my Xbox One. I happened to grab this in sale for 69.99. Works perfectly ! Awesome deal and recommended!

Product works as I had anticipated. Good description online and had no issues ordering and picking up. I wanted 4 of the hard drives. The salesperson was able to assist in ordering. I had a hard deadline when I needed them and received them on time.

I started using an extra hard drive about 8 years ago. When I got my new Dell 7420 Opti from Best Buy I bought one that was compatible with this PC - it is always a good thing to have an extra copy for your needs! Good product and not bulky.

Overall, great storage device that is easy to use, fast on the download and upload, easily connected to destination devices, works well attaching to TV to play videos, movies, music, vid clips, etc., and has a ton of storage space. Price was competitive. Had no issues.
