Cheap storage

The new software update keeps the disk moving for some reason. I don't like that so I unplug the drives as soon as I am do using them

I feel comfortable using it for both my, and my client's, data. Backing up is easy on the road with these, and they are inexpensive enough to purchase a few at a time for jobs.

Great add on to any computer

Great portable hard drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The drive is quiet and almost does not warm up during operation. I bought it for MacBook backups. I hadn't any troubles with using on MacBook. First you need to install WD Discovery app. You can find it on hard drive. Then update app and build in utility. In tab "APPS" you can find WD Drive Utilities, use it for format disk to a MacOS supported file system. That's all.
