It worked great. It is fast enough to be able to play games like fortnite and rocket league, and its really really quiet. You can only hear it if you put your ear next to it. Its light and smaller than you think. It also turns on fast.

Purchased the WD easystore 2TB external hard drive for my son and his wife. Now they can store and organize family pictures and files on the external drive. The cost is reasonable and the product is good.

The speed for the file transfers is great. I bought this to store drone videos and photos on rather than bulking up my CPU HD. Perfect size for travel.

I now have a full channel guide for the Dish Network where as before I was constantly having to download the guide a few days at a time. Recording programs is simple and easy and there is enough space for a lot of recordings.

Great experience from beginning to end. We purchased an external hard drive for our computer. The experience took less than 20 minutes. We explained to the salesman what features we were looking for and he showed us several makes and models. He did not try to pressure us into one of the models. I know some folks have had issues with WD drives crashing, but so far I have had great luck with them and I have five of them. They burn files fast and are easy to use. However, I also don't store all my eggs in one basket! I have two of these drives for duplicative backup - just in case one does crash and burn.

Was easily able to reformat it for my Mac by googling and getting to the easy store website. I had a lot of data and it transferred within 30 mins for backup. I got the 2TB since it was on sale, so I still have lots of space available. Definitely recommend!

Bought this to use for backing up our computers. It takes the place of our old external drive that had an electric cord plus USB to use. This has only a USB, is much lighter and less cumbersome to use. Easy to set up and use. Plus it is fast! Glad we got it.
