I connected the drive to my Windows 11 PC USB 3.0 port and quickly had access to 1.81 TB of external storage. I use it for photos, videos, audio files & backing up my internal SSD. Runs cool and quiet with good transfer speeds. Excellent value for the price.

My new home computer did not have enough storage. This portable hard drive was an excellent addition and solved my dilemma for more storage! Best Buy had it on sale at half price! Affordable upgrade and a great value!

Purchased as a backup for an aging laptop. This has more storage capacity than I really need at this time, but this allows me to move precious memories to a secure storage device, allowing access if the primary device ever fails. Of course, this requires me to be diligent about backups, but the WD external drive will handle that automatically for me - makes my life easier. And, based on current performance, I know that I'll not lose important files and memories if my current laptop fails before I'm ready to replace it. Again, an excellent value for a produce that performs as intended. I would purchase this again if the need arose.

If you either can't, or don't want to, use the cloud these portable hard drives are for you. They don't require their own power supply and are USB plug and play. Compact enough to take pretty much anywhere.

It doesn’t matter if you’re not good with computers; this is very easy to use. Get this to give yourself the peace of making sure you don’t lose your files. There is a lot of space to keep everything you want. This is definitely useful.

We've started recording the proceedings of our annual convention, both audio and video, and this was a major help in transporting those files from the venue to the main office while keeping them secure.

The storage pack was really good. It helps out alot of things you can do with it. It can help with gaming or files or anything you need help with.

I am writing in my diary daily using the easystore USB 3.0. I had accidentally erased 17 yrs. of my diary on "a free online diary." and by keeping it on here, I understand that I will not lose it. I am counting on that.

We bought this to have some old computers backed up on it. It has a lot of space! We looked at the 1TB and thought this was definitely worth the small extra price for double the space.

I store photos from my phone on my computer...and computer storage fills up. And sometimes computers crash. This is a great little external hard drive to plug in and backup all those memories! And it’s small...so it doesn’t take up much room to store or carry with you. Great purchase!

This external hard drive got a ton of space for pictures, documents, videos etc. Easy to install and use, super light and come with all the cables to transfer from your laptop or phone.

So far, so Good, I've bought 3 (or 4, I've lost count) of these. They seem to work okay. I do have a beef with WD as a manufacturer: I don't understand why there are vast differences in durability, longevity, reliability, and quality within the WD Brand of drives. (I had a couple of WD Passports, which died within months of my purchasing them. These I do not recommend). My Drives Soap Box: Considering how dependent on Technology, and rising Storage needs, we are (and I don't foresee it returning to smaller storage needs)--and especially if one does not wish to rely on "Cloud Storage," outside our home--it's ultra important to have good quality, reliable, durable, (did I mention reliable? Did I mention durable?) drives, available at reasonable prices. By Reliable I mean several years of durability. My first WD drive purchase (a WD PP III Studio II 320 Gb FW external), is already 11 years old, and still works. It also does have two different modes of connecting with my 2011 and 2012 Macs (Firewire, and Micro USB-to-USB), a feature I wish more drives had. I wish it was still available. As for the 3 EasyStore Drives, they're already nearly 1 year old, and they *appear* reliable. Lets hope they don't disappoint me, for I'm about to invest on yet a 5th (2Tb) one...

Great HDD, works as expected. Great price too. Using it as an auto backup for my PCs. Trusty and reliable brand, would recommend.
