    First time I ever purchased a backup system for my computer. Purchased was based off Best Buy employee recommendation. Have yet to see if all my files, photos, etc. were saved on to this item after my computer crashed.

    I've used WD products for many years. They have always been reliable but now they are much easier to use. More work is involved if you own a Mac as you'll have to re-format the drive.
