Ordinary external drive with no special bells or whistles. Although its price has been rising, still probably a good bet for the money. (I believe when backing up it's better to backup twice with more expensive drives, than once with expensive one.)

It does its job very fast. great Hard drive. very slim and super fast data processing with no noise at all. comes with 1 year included of data backup by WD.

Take a time to upload but is good for the price. And the storage amount is good.

Not much to say about an external drive, it works out of the box, performance seems to be decent for backup storage.

I wanted something portable for projects I work on & general backups. This was smaller than expected & proved quite sturdy, after someone dropped it. Inexpensive & does its job well!

....a little fragile. This drive is good storage and the price is good too, but these aren't as mobile or portable as you may have been led to believe. This is a replacement one for one my daughter was using at school that dropped from about desk height onto low carpeted floor and did not survive.

The Easystore is truly easy to use. It is a good plug and play device. It storage capacity is very functional and plenty large enough.

Very happy with this purchase. Easy to set up and connect to my laptop. Once I set up the backup schedule, I don't even worry about it. Has plenty of space. Highly recommend this product.

We used 2tb wd 3.0 drive to connect to the original PS4. Setup was quick and easy and the transfers and playback have been fast and reliable. Would buy again if you can catch it on sale.

In this age of ransomware and other nasty virii backing up the stuff on your computer is no longer optional. WD Easystore products are one of the simplest and most reliable ways of protecting your information... as long as you disconnect them and put them in a safe place when not in use as well as realize mechanical drives do not last forever, so remember to replace this and any other external drive after 5 or 10 years of use if you value what you store on them. I've owned quite a few of these drives. I know photographers that archive their work on dozens of these drives.

I see no difference between this product and any other. I bought based on price, reviews and brand. Proof will be in the pudding based on longevity and keeping data secure

I love the extra storage space on the "Easy Store", external hard drive. I put all my favorite things on there, and can take it with me from one computer to another. I have all may downloads and information at my fingertips.

After having a "My Passport" that I wanted to back up two laptops I bought 2 Easystore drives. I have problems with moving the My Passport from each computer. Hard to tell which computer if any was being backed up. The way the files are stored it is hard to name the files per computer because the date seems to be a different date. Anyway, by buying 2 Easystore that would be a separate storage per each computer, I hoped to not have the concern of what backup for what computer. That now seems to by file but I still don't care for the name of the file on each backup. So I rename each backup and hope I have the right file. It was not as easy to set up as they make you believe. Also, another problem I have is with the Easystore plugged in my phone back up will not work. I have to up plug the Eaststore to get the computer to see my phone when plugged in. So I think all now is well but will file out when I really need the back up. That is why I changed backup drive companies because with another company with I needed the back up the backup drive was bad.

Excellant value. This unit is basic, simple and does the storage. No jumping through hoops just plug and go. USB connection. Moves very large files in a fairly short amount of time. Good size non obtrusive but not small enough to lose.

I love my WD - Easystore 2TB portable hard drive. It gets the job done and very easy to carry around. The item is reasonably priced too.
