I purchased this drive to replace an aging NAS I use for local backup. I can attach it to a single system or plug it into a USB storage enabled router (both work great). Nicely packaged and excellent cost/GB

I purchased this storage drive to help with backups of data on my computer at home. It works very well out of the box for Windows, although I am mostly a Linux user. There are no directions or support provided for a Linux environment, although the drive works well. Only a couple of minor issues I had (connecting to Linux pc) were that it is a bit dodgy about running on USB 3.0. Had some issues safely disconnecting (unmounting) the drive. Works perfect with USB 2.0 though. If using a Linux system, you may need to reconfigure the file system from NFTS to either EXT4 or a mix, depending on what you are using the drive for. Over the years I have developed more trust in using Western Digital drives than for other brands. They usually end up being more reliable than others.

I use this to move and save my files and important records this has been a real life saver for my compute. It gives me the freedom to use my computer and not having it slow down due to lack of storage room.

Works great as an external drive for my PS4 Pro! Games load quickly. Doesn’t need external power, runs off the power provided by the USB port. Very convenient and low profile. Formatted to the full 2 TB.

Purchased this to increase the storage capacity of our Xbox. It was the Deal of The Day and the price was even cheaper. We have bought other brand name hdd and they fail to soon, never have had any issue with Western Digital HDD.

Our son was always complaining about not having enough storage on his xbox. He used his holiday money for this and has been ecstatic. We never hear complaints now, and it was super easy to set up.

The product is functional, in that it has a tremendous amount of space with which to store files. It is also as easy to work with as is any flash drive or portable drive. The reasonable cost was also a plus.

Needed a new external drive to store and take my music on the go. This drive fit the bill - doesn't take up much room, connects quickly, reads and writes fast. My new go-to for when I need files on the run.

I take a lot of videos of my children in the various sports. This drive connects to my laptop and allows me to transfer the videos relatively quickly, which has freed up a lot of space from my laptop. It works well!

I wasn’t to sure if this was going to work on the PS4 but it did and it was so easy! It’s literally plug and play and the 2TB are there. Highly recommend if you’re looking for extra storage for games.
