I needed an external drive to back up my Mac computer. I had a hard time initializing the drive for Mac, but once that was done, it has been easy to use.

This item was exactly what I needed and at a very good price. Didn't know what to look for but the store associate talked to me and knew just what I needed. Great experience!

Easy way to back up important documents Incase your laptop dies.

Bought to use with my 2016 MacBook Pro. Was on sale so I thought I'd try it out. This drive has build quality much superior to the plastic WD PassPort. After I got rid of all the PC junk that came with it, it worked well as a Time Machine backup. Specs out with USB 3 but seemed little slower than my other drives. Maybe it has a 5400 RPM mechanism. I can't remember but as it runs in the background and and only backs up files that have changed I can recommend it. Was looking for a good portable 7200 RPM drive but all much more expensive and this one was a steal at the Sale Price.

Worked as intended & advertised. If you need a little more help and explanation on the installation YouTube is your best friend for free info and installation guides. I followed the build guide from Joey Delgado on Youtube down to the T and he made it a breeze.

I recently purchase this external drive and dont know want to expect but it was an excellent drive sleek and light. So convenient and easy to use. Love the sleek design and the spacious capacity for the price i paid is well worth it.

This is working fine ! So far exceeded my expectations as in past WD products were not top of my list I will add a negative — this company needs to RE-DO their instruction sheet enclosed NOT USER FRIENDLY — I had to Contact a company rep for step by step instructions to format for a Mac

The external device is easy to use backed up my computer with it!

One as a Xmas present the other for myself..very easy to download to my laptop and I was even able to teach my 85 yr old dad how to use it and make more room on his laptop.Transfered thousands of pics and still plenty of space.

Perfect hard drive for storing my pictures and videos that I take on my trips. Haven’t had any issue so far with it. Works great on my macbook pro and the transfer speed is very fast!

This is the perfect external hard drive. The only problem is the connection is not a micro usb. I use this for my Xbox One system to expand the memory.
