Easy to use, no preparation needed. Plugged in to usb port, went to Xbox menu and configured the drive for use. Drive is almost half full and has been working like a champ

Found this on sale for half off, so I purchased two. One to back up my older model MacBook Pro and the other as an external USB storage for PS4. The PlayStation set up was a breeze. The Mac setup, however, was a bit trickier. Had to go to their site and find some instructions to reformat, which was a bit difficult to find and follow, but I managed to get it done. I’m so used to just being able to plug in and go, I haven’t really had to do this in quite some time. Once past this process, everything’s been running great, though! And for the price I paid, I can’t complain!

This is a great portable hard drive, especially for the price. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent, fair priced external hard drive.

Works well for a great price. Tons of space for general data. Probably way more space than I need for PDFs, Word docs, and Excel spreadsheets.

Great product at a greater price! Was looking all over for an external hard drive to get more storage space for my PS4, this definitely gave me the bang for my buck!

So far so good! Clean design, seems like it may be easy to damage, so keep that in mind, but I found it to be just what I needed.

I bought this for my daughter to backup her laptop. It connects easily and has plenty of storage to protect her important information and documents. It is also very portable.

I purchased this external back-up hard drive on sale. With some minor assistance from WD web site instructions, setup of the portable hard drive was pretty straightforward. The only somewhat complicated aspect of the setup was that I needed to revise the partitioning of the hard drive. The initial setup allocated less than 100 GB to useful memory. Following online help, I quickly re-allocated 1.9 TB to memory available for backup purposes. I've run two back-ups so far, the initial full back-up and one incremental back-up; both ran smoothly.

Easy to install and reliable. Have two installed in my computer. The 2TB drive is where I keep the backups for the 1TB WD - Easystore work drive.

WD is the best. Have been using WD drives for years now, no complains.

This hard drive is legit. I love it’s size and also the space it allowed me to create so I didn’t have to delete games to have space for new updates and more video games.

I bought this because of the price. For some reason it freezes on my MacBook and I have to restart it to get it going again. This is my second questionable product from Western Digital (had a MyCloud Home go out on me) so this will probably be my last purchase from WD.
