this portable HD is a must have for everyone, It is great for back up of all your devices and is super small so you can take it with you anywhere

I use this as a permanently attached external backup drive for my PC. It works fine and as per my usual experience with WD drives, it is very reliable. It replaced a 10-year-old WD drive that I disposed of when I bought my new computer. My complaint is that it was very difficult to setup to back up all my files. I had 79GB of files and photos in my users folder (Windows 10) which this drive was supposed to back up by default but it consistently backed up only 21GB. After numerous unsuccessful attempts including using custom settings to manually select all my User folders, I was about to give up when I decided to try including what Windows refers to as a library and that worked. As a bonus, it also backed up all the software programs I had on the main hard drive, like games, photo editing software, Quicken, etc., even MS Office. I tried running all those programs from the WD drive and they all worked. What it did not back up was the Windows 10 OS whereas my old WD backup drive had created an image of my old Windows OS. Not a big deal as I have a separate recovery drive. One last issue: In order to find your files, you have to navigate down through an absurdly complex number of folders with bizarre names. One would think WD could simplify that process. I gave it three stars because of the setup issues and the difficulty locating files.

Works awesome with My Xbox. Seems to be the perfect size for what I needed. Also was an unbelievable price.

This was a great buy for the price. I got it on sale it was very easy to install and came with some pretty decent software.

I’m using it to store music and video. It’s chugging right along and hasn’t given me any issues. Great size and value.

Great storage device and trustworthy company. My only issue is that I feel i will be in trouble if i lose the adapter cord. Its a very unique port on the device that i have never seen before.

I bought this for my PS4 and it works like a champ for it.

East to use storage with a decent amount of space for all your pictures or games whatever tickles your fancy.

This was needed as an external backup drive with high capacity storage. It met all the requirements, not bulky and easy to travel with.

This is an excellent 2tb storage for the money. Fast, easy to carry and store, and well built. The speed of the drive pretty good.

This hard drive is smaller than most and has quite a bit of storage space. I would recommend it. It doesn't take up any room.

Excellent little drive. We use it to archive volleyball footage. Seamless setup and transferred data quickly.
