I have been buying western digital drives for a long time because of the reliability of them. I know everyone has different experiences with different drives so I am only speaking for myself her. These drives come with some good tools loaded on the drive. These work great t and are very portable.

This was plug and play into my Xbox one great storage no lag time perfect

I am using this drive with the NTI Backup Now EZ 7 backup software and it works very well. USB 3.0 makes it fast enough to actually be able to do files backups and a full volume backup within a decent time frame.

Used to pull pictures off of a phone instead of paying for apple cloud, more secure and don't have to worry about being hacked.

I purchased for data backup for my computer after a MicroSoft "updates" corrupted I he operating system.i have used these for portable data storage in the past and they worked for that.

I picked this up to use with my MacBook Pro. It works with either Apple Or Windows. The hard drive is a little bit wider than a deck of cards,but not as thick. The outer case is made from plastic and there is a twelve inch cable that comes with it. Oh, there is also a little white light that tells you when it is working. It's a plug and play device. The Mac makes it easy to use and after some formatting it has been backing up the MacBook every day. If you are looking for an external storage drive this one is a good choice.

I bought this for my 500GB PS4 after reading many great reviews and so far it has not disappointed. Very easy to install and now have more storage to add games.

Pro's: - lightweight but the case doesn't feel cheap - Good data copy rates - even though I didn't use a USB3.0 port to transfer my files - Easy Plug and Play setup Con's - Non Really If you watch the BB ads, I'm sure you could get this quite a bit cheaper closer to Black Friday. My main purpose for buying this drive was to store a backup of my music and photo files. Since I'm only using this as a storage device, it is plenty fast enough for copying my files onto it. You might want to go with the Passport if you need to transfer files for gaming.

Bought this for additional storage for my ps4 and it works great. Definitely worth the money and easy to install. Works well.

Works well. A bit of a hitch getting my computer to recognize it, but on line help worked. Good size.
