great and compact for easy travel and transferring files quickly

This is a lightweight 2 TB portable usb 3 drive. It is easy to use for backing up your computer.

I have used this device for about a month. Use it for work and at home for backup of all of my files (including thousands of vacation pictures) and software I have created and used over many years. I plug into my USB port on my desktop or laptop (back and forth) and it instantly is recognized on both my systems which run windows 10 operating system. Have only used about 20 % of its 2 Terra Byte storage capacity.

I picked this up when it was on sale in order to use as external storage for my PS4. I did a quick Google search to figure out how to format it, and it was up and running within an hour (the time it took to transfer all my info). It has been stable for the past month so far- no issues, even after I blew a fuse and it was shut off unexpectedly. So far, so good, and I have plenty of space for any other games that I may purchase in the future.

Bought this to back up my hard drive and transfer to my new computer. It's easy to use and has great storage.

I use it to store my pictures and personal staff, and so far it uploads high-capacity files really fast.

This hard drive works very well and has a ton of space. I got it at an excellent price and I am very satisfied so far.

So far, it seems to work OK. /Best Buy techs were supposed to set it up to automatically back up, but failed to do so. North Canton store manager emailed me to make another appointment, and suggested I try to do it myself. I think I got it.

We are using this because our other passport filled up. It is easy to use and reliable.

This product is soo great. I used this for my xbox to store more games and it writes so fast it’s perfect!

WD is always a great product. This is little bulkier that I thought but not much to change my mind. It has good data transfer rate. I have not used the security software as its for personal use bu tI heard that the security is good. I use it extensively as it for my pics and important files that I need to keep moving. Its very portable and sturdy. The newer model slim but go for any model.

Best Buy has been selling these WD drives under the "easystore" trademark for less than the WD branded equivalent drives. They come with a year less warranty but there has to be a trade-off for the lower price. With WD reliability that shouldn't be a concern. If a drive is going to fail it will be a case of infant mortality or old age. You're covered if it's the former and neither WD or "easystore" will be covered once the drive gets beyond the warranty period which is very,very likely.

Device is compact and easy to install. Included software makes setting up backups fairly easy.

Provided the needed space for all the pics which I had on the desk top, which I have disposed of. Easy to install too.
