All I can speak to is my basic understanding and experience with this product, which I have only used 2-3 times. It was easy to use. I did not experience any difficulties with installation or transferring data. The WD - easystore® 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive worked great - it was simple, fast, and functioned in accord to product description.

Works fine but the software didn't install without their assistance.

Beats buying a brand new computer!

My son has an Origin PC that he uses strictly for gaming. He began not being able to download any more games or even edit and post videos to his YouTube channel. We didn’t have it in our budget to purchase another PC and we were recommended by a friend to purchase this product. It works like a charm. My son is back to gaming and becoming a famous YouTuber (so he says)...lol. It’s like he has a new system.
