    I can’t speak about how long this will last, all I can say is I plugged it in to my Xbox one and it works, I can store my games on the drive. No need for power as it draws it from usb.

    I have New Apple laptop from you. When I brought the hard drive - I did not know I should have brought an Apple computer. No directions were included to modify it for my Apple laptop!
