With help from Western Digital downloaded additional software that allowed this drive formatted for a setting that I needed. Originally bought a 4 TB drive now using as an additional backup for home pc. Similiar 1 TB hard drive software easier to use and set for back up of wife's pc.

No need for external power and doesent take up much space. Also it matches the ps4 good and is not an eyesore.

It worked great. The user kept it afterward to use as a backup of their new windows system.

Also tried to use this to record game play in xbox. It works first time and then stops when try to do the same second time.the LED keeps blinking but onthing happens. Used only a couple of times. Waste of money

I wasn't expecting to have to download and create an account to use the product and it could have been more user friendly. I hope I don't regret not spending the extra on a solid slate, but that's on me.

For example this is rated at 2 terabytes but reality is only 1.8
