no surprises. item worked fine for backing up Windows or Mac data.

This unit is excellent...works for MAC of Windows..the unit is self powering via USB cable and nice and compact.

Bought this for my husband's home computer that runs multiple Linux OS systems. Despite the quad-boot setup this external hard drive was setup quickly and easily. He encrypted it using Veracrypt 1.24 and now enjoys on the fly saving and retrieving of data. The product doesn't mention Linux OS systems but it can be used with them and as my husband did, can encrypt the entire drive or break it up into various containers as your particular needs dictate. Only issues are the drive is small (easily sits next to or on the box) and the linking cable is rather short (imagine that a longer one can be found if needed). The drive is very light but feels well made and durable ( has to be as anything my husband handles better be well built). Overall no complaints and works as advertised, He loves it so that is one big vote of confidence as he always find something to complain about. Be advised that if you encrypt the entire drive (1.9 TB) and fill it up a lot as opposed to smaller containers the time to retrieve will be longer but still the Veracrypt app is fast and easy to use. I am sure the drive works equally as well for the Mac OS or Windows OS systems and have built in software for Windows that we erased and don't need.

I bought this to backup files on my laptop. It was a good price with 2tb storage. It was easy to use.

Used this to add extra storage for an Xbox One S. Works great, easy setup, and gives me the extra space I needed.

The is a lot of storage in a small package I was able to save all my high resolution images without an issue

Nice external disk drive. I decided not to use any of the utility software preinstalled on the drive. So, I reformatted it. I use it to back up two computers.

I set it up myself. Always had Android. My son has Iphone. I enjoy using face time on the tablet with him. Great tablet for the price. I would buy again. I purchased 6/15/2020

Very nice hard drive. Bought it to connect to a digital TV converter box / recorder and it formatted quickly and was ready to go.

Just wished they would let me get a change card maybe one day

Haven't had any problems. Files transfer pretty quickly as well. I transferred all my files from a desktop and then a laptop onto it and still have tons of room.

This works great when wanting to expand your storage for your Xbox One! Great compact size and good price.
