I picked this up when it was on sale in order to use as external storage for my PS4. I did a quick Google search to figure out how to format it, and it was up and running within an hour (the time it took to transfer all my info). It has been stable for the past month so far- no issues, even after I blew a fuse and it was shut off unexpectedly. So far, so good, and I have plenty of space for any other games that I may purchase in the future.

Needed it for my ps4, super easy to use and has been reliable so far. No complaints.

Large capacity storage for portable hard drive, small compact size fo desk top use.

This is not my first WD external hard drive. I've discovered they are reliable and affordable.

This is a lightweight 2 TB portable usb 3 drive. It is easy to use for backing up your computer.

It works great for my Playstation 4 system. It very easy to install and move your games to extended storage.

Works fine. Nothing special. Backup software included is junk as usual as it's a resource hog and not the simplest to configure if you use custom folders/locations.

Great unit, I purchased this for my PS4 after purchasing one for my Xbox One and another one as a backup for my computer. I would highly recommend these.

Like most people with a gaming console, you run out of memory. I purchased this hard drive and was very happy with it. I now have over 50 Xbox one games installed, I had less than 15 before. The transfer speeds are very fast. The only problem I had was that it didn't ACTUALLY have 2 tb. It had about 1.8, though that is still alot it isn't 2 tb. You cannot use this for PC and Xbox one storage. Once it's formatted for Xbox you must re format it to use it on any other device.

I have used this device for about a month. Use it for work and at home for backup of all of my files (including thousands of vacation pictures) and software I have created and used over many years. I plug into my USB port on my desktop or laptop (back and forth) and it instantly is recognized on both my systems which run windows 10 operating system. Have only used about 20 % of its 2 Terra Byte storage capacity.

Easy to set up. Inexpensive storage. Easy to store in my bag. Probably should have gotten the 5T

Works fine. No issues. But you might want to get something larger than 2 TB if this is for videos/photos. I'm already out of space.

Does the job. Only issue I have found is that in the past some of these exact models can start to malfunction after a while. Might be better off paying more for a SSHD.

I think this HDD is good but would always recommend an SSD. Specially if you’re clumsy (like me, lol). But no matter what an SSD is better than a mechanical HDD
