Nice product - good data transfer rate

This is little bulkier that I thought but not much to change my mind. It has good data transfer rate. I have not used the security software as its for personal use bu tI heard that the security is good. I use it extensively as it for my pics and important files that I need to keep moving. Its very portable and sturdy. The newer model slim but go for any model.

Simple design, straightforward process

Although she is familiar with computers, she is somewhat intimidated by new extended components, processes and procedures. The design, ease of use and simple backup process is perfect for her. One walk-thru with this drive and she was actually surprised at how easy it was to conduct her own backups. Good design, interface and simple steps (confidence builder) from this little HDD.

Caught the device on sale which was even better but I probably would have still paid full price if necessary
