Generally, I prize Western Digital drives for their reliability. This 2TB drive is still working but feels cheap & the transfer speed is less than one-half that of other WD drives, even when empty. I won't but another like this one.

Great backup Drive, I use this on my MacBook Air M1 for Time Machine backups, the 2TB size is perfect so I can keep weeks of backups without filling up the drive and running out of space. Anyone not backing up their computer is taking a big chance but this drive is a cheap insurance policy !

I haven't had this external drive long, but so far it is very easy to use and the price was great. I prefer to use the Windows 10 backup features rather than the Western Digital software when creating backups.

This is an excellent backup drive for all your data. Very quiet drive and fast USB 3.0 transfer rates. Easily portable to take with you and connect to other computers. I have always purchased WD USB drives and have never been disappointed with the performance. This comes with standard Western Digital software to use to protect the security of the drive and auto backups if needed. Great design. Very sturdy case. Does not require an external power source.

I love it for a 2t, but its kinda difficult to understand how to wipe it the first time you use it on a Mac. This is my 2nd one. Got to clean my Mac up.
