I'm pretty happy with them. I was a little disappointed that they don't have password protection capability like some of the other WD drives do, but I can live with that for the price I paid.

Does what it was hired to do

This drive capably takes care of backing up my files and speeding recovery. Remote backup services are good for full protection but involve ongoing cost (minor), and take time to back up and restore compared to a local USB 3.0 drive. Both approaches should be used, but the use of this drive permits fast backup and recovery. The remote service covers events such as fire or theft.

Easy to use, fast, great value.
