I'm hoping it proves more reliable than my previous one which stopped being recognized by my PC. Be aware that the WD web site has suggestions to correct that issue, but their solution suggestions did not work for me.

Works great for Xbox 360

Perfect Portable hdd for XB1

Plugged it right in, xb1 instantly recognized it and formatted it. It's powered through the USB, so easy enough to just plug into xbox... Just wish I had some kind of way to secure to the xb.. But other than that, great product, caught on sale for 70.. Don't be fooled into buying the xbox branded SAME hd's for 20-30 more; they are all the same thing
