Works fine but the software didn't install without their assistance.

When you first plug the WD in you copy the UTILITIES to your home screen and that's it. From that point on you copy what ever you need to the WD, in my case several gigs of vacation video, move it back and forth to the hard drive unplug if you want and plug it in the next day and it just works.

Great Investment to backup your files

I used it to backup the operating system of a new computer and backup all my files. And with the USB 3.0, transfer is very fast. Great investment - no need to have huge amounts of memory for your computer when these are so easy to use and it keeps your computer working fast by getting rid of the clutter.
