I have perhaps 15 of them. Very compact and easy to carry easy to find a case for that you can put a new cord and hard drive sometimes a 2nd Drive. I’ve never had any trouble with any of them or the years that’s why I continue to purchase them.

The USB 3.0 can only be useful if you have a USB 3.0 port, otherwise it will slow down a bit but nothing an average computer user would mind too much in my opinion. Great price, high volume of storage to where only serious gamers, movie downloads, or video/photo editing people should consider something larger.

This was the perfect solution I attached it to the old computer copied all the user data into a folder. Then I attached the external drive to the new computer and mapped the drive. I didn’t have to worry about losing any information from my wife’s special projects.
