Works as advertised. Easy set up. Not much more to say. Just filling the 50 character minimum for a BB post.

I bought it for my PS4 because modern warfare ask for a lot of gb since my PS4 didn’t have enough space for the new update.

We have not used the WD-Easystore 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive yet. It looks like it will be easy and we hope to use it soon.

It's a really good and small external drive for backing up pictures.

I have had this Hard Drive for about one month and use it to backup my iMac 27" 5K. The backup goes smoothly and only takes about one hour to complete.

I bought this hard drive to help me backup a bunch of files off of my main computer to free up some space... Did one transfer of a few folders (about 10 GB worth), no problems... Then I attempted to transfer the entirety of my old external drive onto this one (nearly 1 GB of files)... The transfer started okay... but before long, it said "The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error" ... I skipped that message, and then it aborted the transfer altogether. When I checked the drive to see what had transferred... only a few 1 kb files had successfully been written... BUT what is even worse: (a) I can no longer access the files that WERE successfully written to this "easystore" drive (I was just about to delete them from my recycle bin... good thing I hadn't done that yet!!) (b) I can't even erase or format the drive. It is literally broken. It appears that, after a SINGLE use, the drive actually FAILED (irrevocably) on the second attempt to even use it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, or be prepared to pay the price when you suddenly lose all of your information stored on it...

I purchased the 2 TB drive as part of setting up a network attached storage (NAS) on my home network. Right out of the box, it was recognized by all of my computers, including the NAS device. It came with management software and I did install it, and while it seemed easy to use, I removed it as my NAS doesn't need it. Overall, I would recommend the WD drive.

Very easy to set up, had it installed and working in 5 minutes. Was much smaller than I thought it was going to be.

These are great for extra storage and media. For data backup, cloud based options are much more reliable now and if your laptop bag is stolen you don't lose the data.

Wanted an external drive for backup purposes. This seemed to fit the bill. I received it quickly but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Very compact. and good price.
