Needed a hard drive to backup an older computer system before replacing the hard drive. This has tons of storage and small enough to easily stash away.

Great price and fast. Bought for my Mac. The software that comes with this ( NTFS for Mac ) is horrible so ended up uninstalling it and just formatting the drive for a Mac. Works fine know

There's nothing flashy about a hard drive. All I can say is that it is plug and play via included usb cable and 2TB is a decent amount of storage in a compact hard drive. It is new, so I can't comment on long term reliability, but so far so good.

As advertised. Delivery was also reasonably timely. Apparently Best Buy has a shipping location not far from me in Boston, MA. A 2-TB storage device powered by the USB port has been useful in backing up data from several computers. Noteworthy is that you MUST plug it into a fully-powered USB port to assure proper power. If you use a non-powered USB hub for additional items like phone, mouse, keyboard, or other items the drive may not work and report not enough power. So plug it into a full-powered port on your desktop or laptop, or obtain an external powered USB hub. Western Digital has a long standing reputation for quality products.

Very small but has 2 TB Hard Drive. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a back-up for their computer system.

Essential purchase for expanding my PS4 library. I use this exclusively for huge games that take up 100GB+ hard drive space. PS4 now runs more smoothly with less database building issues.

Easy to use and customize. I usually use Seagate for all of my back up solutions(have for many years). I needed to buy another but the Seagate brand wasn't available in the capacity needed. The Western Digital is mostly the same in performance and storage.

This drive is light and fast. It quickly copied 50GB of pictures I needed to back up. And with 2TB of storage, it will handle all my current documents and such for a long time to come.

I first purchased my WD - Easystore 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black to backup my files while my laptop was being Tuned-Up by Geek Squad. I was in needed of a new one anyway so purchasing it was a must. So far I have been able to store things that I needed to save like pictures and documents with ease. It has 2TB so that is always a plus.
