Compact large capacity storage drive

It took 6 hours to copy 500 gigs of data; I don't think my Linux O/S fully utilizes USB 3.0 but since I don't do anything anyway, patience prevailed.

Fine external drive, great value for the price

I picked this up at a local Best Buy for less than the price of a comparable external HD online. I have had it for a little while now and I have had no issues with it. It's a pretty standard external hard drive.

Tons of storage space!

This is perfect for that and provides me with loads of excess storage. My only grievance with this HD is when I connect it to my computer. There is no password protection, meaning anyone can just plug it up and access all of your files. This isn’t TOO big of a problem for me, but if you are purchasing this with the hopes of having password protected security, this isn’t the hard drive for you. But that issue aside, the hard drive serves its purpose.
