    It worked really well to back up my mac. I just had to configure it for my mac then it worked good. It didn’t take much to configure it either and was much cheap then the specific mac options.

    I was in a bind. My semi new Imac got corrupted after an update. I tried to fix it every way I knew how. I finally gave up a picked up this drive so I could go into safe mode and back up the whole system. A day later, the operation was a success, and I like the time machine concept now.

    Purchased two of these to backup our system databases and data prior to the hurricane... good transfer rate and great storage size. Since the hurricane, I've lost one because IT Desktop Support has already found additional uses for it.
