    I got this as a spare for my existing external. Works great for my needs and I can leave my desktop one safe at home where there is less of a chance of it getting dropped and breaking where this one I feel comfortable traveling with.

    I was in a bind. My semi new Imac got corrupted after an update. I tried to fix it every way I knew how. I finally gave up a picked up this drive so I could go into safe mode and back up the whole system. A day later, the operation was a success, and I like the time machine concept now.

    An amazing hard drive I bought which has been put for great use. WD generally makes great products and this product was on a great sale for me to not purchase it. I use it to create all my back ups and has worked exceptionally well for me so far.

    Wanted to make a backup of an older desktop in case it would ever fail. Got this on sale and it was plug and play. Data transferred quickly and now I’ve got the backup I needed without spending a bunch!

    After having owned a Seagate Slim Drive preciously, I like the sturdy compactness of this WD Drive. It’s smaller and more compact than my prior drive, although slightly thicker and slightly heavier. I dropped my lighter Slim Drive which caused it to dent, but this drive seems to be sturdier. Has worked flawlessly so far.

    It worked really well to back up my mac. I just had to configure it for my mac then it worked good. It didn’t take much to configure it either and was much cheap then the specific mac options.
