I transferred the files from my old drive to this one with problem. I've only had this drive for less than a month so I can't comment on reliability. aBased on the ease of setup and use I would recommend this to a friend.

Drive is great, may have Macs errors

I had to connect to Windows PC reformat as FAT then was able to format on my Mac. Other than that drive meets all my needs.

From days at the race track to parks with my dogs all of the way to engagement photos. Everything gets uploaded to this hard drive, nothing is kept on my iMac

This it does well. The instructions however are quite poor.
