I bought this as a backup for my computer to store away if I ever had a catastrophic issue with my computer It worked very well my computer recognized it immediately and I was able to backup my computer with no issues whatsoever I recommend this to anybody who needs a reliable drive

It's good and works well as expected. Computer (Windows and Ubuntu Linux operating system) recognizes it right away. I only use it to backup and save my files and do not use the software that comes with it but it works well. Make sure you get it when it's on sale to save some money.

This unit is small and portable but has a large backup capability. It is easy to install and if you don't need all of the whistles and bells that it can provide, simply load it and manually back the information to it. Very good unit for piece of mind for backup to your computer.

I bought two of these recently. I have bought WD external drives before and found them super. I needed larger ones for photos and things I don't reference as much. These drives do not disappoint! The connect without a problem and the speed is perfect for moving photos and documents.

My computer was 10 years old and ran out of storage space. This device allowed me to transfer and access files easily and quickly. And, no reformatting necessary to move my files over to the new computer. I'd be really stuck without this device.

Got this for the PS4 and it works well. My favorite part: no power cord! I have several other external drives and they all require power from an outlet. I prefer to have minimal cords and this fits the bill. Small size too! Want to get a couple more.

The Easy store Portable backup with plug and play was actually easy to install for a 70 year old man like me. I have been looking for a external back up drive so I could back up my files in case my laptop fails. This way I can restore file to a new laptop and lose nothing.

I actually purchased this to use as additional storage space for my xbox one and it has worked great. I've stored many games on this hard drive while simply connecting it to my xbox with a USB cord. The price was right and I have a ton of extra storage space for my xbox now.
