    Not using for my laptop backup but will buy another for that purpose. Purchased for my Channel Master over the air TV DVR (Google Android streaming TV device). This particular WD model was one model recommended for storage. I'm a cable TV cutter.

    I purchased 3 of these to have offline backup of important documents from my computer. Every 3 or 4 months, I attach one to my computer, backup what need and then store it in a safe place. No issues so far.

    Fast and easy install, literally plug and go for Windows 11 home. It comes with a few pre-installed apps to help with local level security and cloud backup/download.

    You do not have to buy 1TB system when it is cheaper to just buy external hard drive and get more storage for the dollar. A must buy. Going to get another for my wifi network for backup Photos, videos, and movies without plugging into a computer. I can just backup overnight.

    A 2 tb hard drive for $60 was a great price. When plugged in, it stays powered and does not have to cycle up as most usb powered hard drives do. I don't use wd auto back up. Great for storing movies, music, etc. and fits easily into a pocket in my laptop bag. Worth the money

    The WD 2TB USB 3.0 drive is definitely worth the money I spent. I am using with Windows backup and have had zero problems with it. The monitoring software that comes with it is a bit of overkill. I removed it from Windows auto startup, as the drive is quite reliable without it.

    These WD external hard drives are great, good value, performs as expected with no problems. Easy to hook up, easy to use, a great choice for Xbox expansion as well as it has USB 3.0, which is what is required for the Xbox One.
