I’m looking forward to daughter opening gift at Christmas.

Needed a backup storage for my laptop. This had more than enough capacity and priced at a huge discount.

WD-easystore 2TB external USB 3.0 portable hard drive is a MUST for anyone with a computer who doesn't want to lose their data, etc. I have several and I back up every month just in case my computer blows up. This way I'll have all my data, photos, etc.

Got this backup drive to replace a previous Seagate backup drive. MUCH smaller and doesn't require a separate power cord. Gets power through the USB connection. The included Wester Digital tools provide easy disk management optins and firmware update checks.

Does exactly what it is said to do. Good for those who need an external backup. Best to find when on sale. Pretty small and compact for office or home computer.

Easily installed peripheral for backups and data storage

it's so easy to fill up the memory in game consoles that having this is almost a must.

The laptop that I purchased had a 512 terrabyte solid state drive that made for a very fast computer but did not provide enough storage for the many high megapixel photographs that I process. This external drive provides the space that I need.

I got this drive in November 2022 and died about a year later. Last month, I found the box that stated it had a two year warranty. Took it back to BB (since it is a BB exclusive) and they told me that I had to deal with the manufacturer. Looked at the manufacturer's website and too many requirements to return it (packaging, etc.). Besides, I am hesitant to send all my data in (I expected BB to check that it wasn't working and destroy it in front of me or give it back and get a new one). So the warranty is totally worthless. With so many good reviews, I have to assume that I was one of the unlucky ones to get a defective item, but the warranty is totally worthless.

I GOT THIS TO TRANSFER PICTURES FROM OLD COMPUTER DONE BY GEEK SQUAD WHOSE TECH EXPLAINED EVERY THING WHEN I RETURNED FOR PICK UP. THIS DRIVE WORKS GOOD. I ALSO GOT DISCOUNT WITH REWARDS POINTS. I AM ALWAYS SATISFIED AT BEST BUY MONROEVILLE PA.

Only downside is that it has to be plugged in to be used.
