Holds a lot. Takes up very little space. Does not require a power supply. Backs up my laptop easily.

Used it to back up pictures on windows 10 PC...easy peasy

its very good hard drive. its easy to use. but i dont like it doesnt have passwords to enter.

I had purchased the same portable hard drive for my wife a couple of years ago. We were very happy with it. I needed one now and purchased the same! Easy to install and begin backing up your data! Would definitely recommend to family and friends.....

I have had this drive for more than 2 years now and so far it has been amazing. I filled it up once and then I got it empty and then I filled it up again without any issues. It has traveled a lot even dropped but without any problems.

Works exactly as expected and does a good job. The main con is the price. Definitely a bit pricey.

This 2TB external hard drive is great for storing my laptop's backup files, Also there is a lot of room to store my archives from my old work projects. This WD devise is fast for read write speed with it's 3.0 USB connection.

@ TB of storage for under $75 is great, the drive works well so far. A bit slow but that is true of all USB external dives. The Western digital backup software is not very friendly. Used the older version for years and it was great, easy to change plans and verify data etc. New version is not compatible with older drive and will not see my old 500 GB. The old software will not see the newer drives. SO I use bth, one for each drive

I purchased 2 of these for a gift. I had such a good experience with them, that I risked giving them. I use mine to store photos and music, and the other as a backup. I have 6 computers (work and home), and I like being able to move my files to any of them.
