Easy set up for a beginner. Worth your money. Tons of space.

Purchased two the same day. One of them works great. One of them stopped working after a month.

I bought this to back up my Mac and cellphone and it works just fine. I did not have any issues as it was practically a "plug and play" situation. I've had it for a few weeks and so far, so good!

If you need a drive to backup your data, WD is certainly a brand to look at. They offer a good warranty and their products are easy to use. I find this particular product to be well worth my investment for the dollar per GB value.

This drive provides all the storage space I need. I have been able to back up multiple thum drives that I had around the house.. I have also backed uo my laptop and phone. I would purchase again.

I had great help selecting this model. The Geek Squad tech listened to my needs and referred me to this product for price, size and ease of use. I purchased the insurance because my last 3 external hard drives broke easily.

I had this hard drive for nine months and while I loved using it during that time, one day it stopped showing up on my computer when I plugged it in. I took it to Geek Squad and they kindly assisted me straight away. Unfortunately they couldn’t get it to show up on their computers either likely due to a physical error and all of my data is gone, unless I want to spend at least 500$ to attempt a data recovery. To me, the whole point of this drive was as a secure backup for important files which are now lost unless I want to pay at least five times my initial investment. If you have any concerns regarding data security, I would recommend doing more research and finding a reliable device. Even if it’s more expensive, it’s better to pay a higher initial investment than to be in my shoes facing a steep cost less than a year later. Either that, or buy two and keep that second one as a backup and take very very good care of it. After this experience, I may start looking towards other manufacturers or data storage techniques as I don’t want to lose everything again.

This is very easy to use and hold a lot of data. In fact. I have one for both of my computer's. My husband has one for his laptop for all of our personal stuff and I have one for all of my school work.

Prefect expansion for ps4. Easy to add, no more choosing which game content or downloads to erase before updating or downloading new content. Must have for gamers. Great price for 2 terabytes.

Bought it so I could store games on my PS4 and it perfect. Sadly, a downside for using it with a PS4 is that you can only store games on it, but that's not this product's fault, it's Sony's. Also, when I first plugged it in, I set it on top of my PS4, and within minutes, it overheated and shut off,But, everything still works fine.

I purchased this so I would have something small that would fit in my fireproof box if something were to happen. You can replace almost anything except pictures, now I've got that covered too. Large capacity and very dependable.

With the new data caps being imposed by Comcast, I bought this hard drive to expand the storage on my PS4 so I wouldn't have to kept deleting and re-downloading games when I want to replay them. Super easy to use and lots of storage.
