They said I needed to have a backup storage unit to save off my data. This unit was perfect for that chore.

Perfect hard drive

I bought one from amazon it was a Samsung the price was similar but that quality sucked it had no fan so I returned it and bought this hard drive instead. I bought the 2tb version which is great for backing up devices and files. I love that this hard drive have an internal fan to cool it down.

Great for Xbox one S storage

I literally plugged it in and within 5 mins the drive was self formatted and games were backed up. They now have room for over 40 games.

It showed up immediately in Windows Explorer and so far has truly been an easystore.

The external drive was used for gaming. Once the game are playing from WD there is not much lag. Definitely would recommend for gaming

Good Product But Has Limitations

I soon came to find out that my drive was frequently been corrupted because it was not totally compatible. I ended up having to use it for my PC instead. If you buy this can you plan on using it for computer storage it will work just fine, but definitely not good for gaming storage.
