Stuck this onto the back of my laptop screen while I was in college so I could get by with a cheaper laptop with smaller storage space. It worked great!!

Easy to use at a good price point. Pretty basic piece of equipment.

Awesome, simple, and practical purchase for someone looking to backup their files... especially if you have a lot of files. 3TB is plenty enough for any avid computer user. The only thing I thought would improve this item would be either a stronger casing or something to give it a stronger physically defending value to protect from drops.

It's works perfectly I bought it for storing my data from my laptop. It's fast, only thing is that it's a bit thicker then the slimmer versions available, but if you don't to carry much it best at this cost.

This is my second purchase of the T external drives from this brand and store. My 1st was 1T. And for the price and the space it provides is Awesome. Glad I brought it. A must buy for a photographer.

Good pricing started malfunctioning(a little) after about 8-9 months of use though.

Is ok for a mechanical HD. Good size and capacity for an external drive. I use for backup mostly.

Don't just store your files on your internal hard drive...makes backup copies to something like this. Easy to use and small enough to store in a small safe or safe deposit box.

I have an older model HP laptop and this won’t work on it. I’m sure it’s a wonderful product, but until I upgrade my P C, it just sits. I was able to download the software but I can’t seem to save to it. I’ll come back and review if ever I get the chance. I like the product but for now it gathers dust.

the only thing ie that it doesn't connect well with phones. However for a computer it is a great backup

Transferred work from my old computer tower to the new one, and haven't filled it up yet! No problems with retrieving work from it, either. I would recommend it.

I basically use external drives for photo storage. I trust WD external drives and this unit fits the purpose at a fair price. The speed is good paired with my machine, and I am pleased with the unit.

I needed a backup drive for my computer, didn't want to chance loosing all my pictures. This is a great little drive that you can easily store or bring with you. Just don't forget to get a case.

This portable hard drive is essential for extra storage. It's easily portable if you are traveling, and has a plug and play format. I have several to store my photos! Easy to use and reliable, too!

I needed an hardrive and this was on sale. Not plug and play with Apple MacBook.
