This hard drive is superb. I thought I needed to replace the laptop. The hard drive saved having to replace it and it works like a new laptop now!

I've been kicking myself for not getting a backup drive for years. But then I had a big scare with my laptop. It crashed and I thought it was toast. Well, we revived it and I decided, okay, I really really need to back up my files. The price point was perfect on this drive. I've never used a back up drive before and I'm generally hands off with technology. This little drive was extremely easy to install and set up for a regular back up program. Much to my surprise the process didn't take hours, the whole thing was up and running and backed up my laptop in about a half an hour. I'm sure the time will vary depending on how many files you have, but for me this was an invaluable experience. I now have peace of mind that if something happens to my laptop, all of my hard work is saved to this tiny little device. I can't believe how small, but mighty this thing is. I absolutely will buy another as soon as I run out of space on this one.

Terrific Product - I travelled across the country with a hard drive that had very valuable info on it. Unfortunately, I lost the hard drive but was completely ok because I backed everything up on this hard drive (which still had plenty of space left over after I did so).

Using this right now as extended storage for PS4 games on my PS5. Easy plug-and-play. PS5 automatically recognized the drive and formatted it.

This portable hard drive is great. It's compact, I can place in my purse if needed. In love with the capacity of the amount of data I can store.

Seems like a great drive to get my brother through college. Bought my brother this drive as a backup/external drive. Partitioning and reformatting was a bit of a pain due to the Windows NT formatting used out of the box. Though after some fiddling and working my way around Disk Utility in MacOS, I was able to get the drive formatted and partitioned for my brother so that he could have a reliable Time Machine drive, and a bit of external storage for his college years. For the price, the amount of storage is great. While a faster drive is always appreciated, or at least a faster transfer port, this should do the job for a while. Should he need more, Im sure SSD prices will come down in the years to come. The build on the housing is also pretty solid, especially considering this is a budget external HDD. Either way, good enough to get him through 4 years.

Does exactly what I need, I can also play some games that I have stored right off the hard drive. Quick little thing, worth the money.

Overall very good storage drive. After a couple of months, it is still working perfectly. It is true that for 2TB I thought it was enough but my work as a photographer requires a little more capacity. So far so good, it serves to move many projects for my clients and share large files with photographer friends for whom I do independent work.

I needed to transfer alot of files and preferably quickly. This was a great find. Availble in store and cheaper than other 1TB options. Sleek modern look. Fits into laptop sleeve pocket nice. Pro Tip: pin the external drive to your “quick access” bar if youre using windows and it makes dragging and dropping files SO much quicker.
