First when I bought it brand new, the drive was locked and I couldn’t upload anything into it, I had to go back to Best Buy to get them to format since it was allowing me to format it. I was at my event and the hard drive didn’t even show up on my laptop. Waste of $100. Best Buy told me it was my Mac adapter that was the problem even though I JUST bought a new adapter from that same Best Buy after they told me my other adapter which I bought from them was the problem. It’s too late for me to even return it. Don’t buy from Best Buy.

Difficult setup with Apple

Have to map drive for Apple, but didn’t automatically start when plugged into computer. Was at point at retuning but then after unplugging and plugging back into computer several times got it to map the drive. Once drive was mapped it seems to work as expected.

Either the AirTV, Sling or WD Easystore hard drive will not stay connected. In order to record programs, I must reboot on a daily basis, the AirTV, reconfigure the AirTV with a new name and reconnect the hard drive after reformatting it every time. Of course all of your recordings the previous day are erased, and if you do not watch the recording on that same day, the hard drive disconnects from the AirTV2 system, and requires rebooting and reformatting once again in order to record.
