I bought this to backup the memory on my old laptop, it’s easy to use and small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

By and large, seems to work just fine. Only problem is that the USB connector on the drive side is reversed (upside down) compared to the set of Seagate drives where I had to replace one bad drive, and thus the drive activity light isn't visible when attached. But speed is fine, can't say anything about reliability as I don't have this drive in use long enough (1 day a week, 10-100GB of data backed up onto it)...

Considering the amount of hard disk space for the sale price that was offered, it was a descent but. Anotherwords, it certainly does the job it was made for. Fairly Easy to operate. And a pocket size Disk, that may be filled with Lots of your personal junk. Enjoy.!

The price was right, and with 2TB, plenty of back up for 2 computers for years to come. Reviews recommend higher priced ones for speed, but what could be faster than instant? One folder of 860 pictures (2.87gb) copied instantly from the computer to the WD drive. I prefer more controlled drag and drop rather than uploading and downloading via software. Copy and transfer of 33,045 (96gb) pictures, 1,005 (156mb) music files and 810 (457mb) documents took about 20 minutes.

Fast, reliable, small and light. I use 5 of these drives for storing and backing up more files, and they've been great.

I had this External HD as a backup or just having another one. I have two one is a seagate and this one I must say it seems to be a little more organized and pretty simple. There’s a lot of downloading though I have to download the discovery app/software and if you want to have it backup your stuff that another separate download which is annoying and there tools also but ofc it has to be downloaded too though. I’m going to use this for my PS4 make sure you format it to ExFat before really using it for storing data! (Pics, Vids and etc.) formatting was easy though and wish it was just cheaper and had one for 4tb for like idk… $70-$80 for us I mean me (lower class mass majority of the population-_-) but hey I got it on sale so it was coo….

Reasonable price. Excellent product. Results? As expected for a WD drive — excellent!
