I had this External HD as a backup or just having another one. I have two one is a seagate and this one I must say it seems to be a little more organized and pretty simple. There’s a lot of downloading though I have to download the discovery app/software and if you want to have it backup your stuff that another separate download which is annoying and there tools also but ofc it has to be downloaded too though. I’m going to use this for my PS4 make sure you format it to ExFat before really using it for storing data! (Pics, Vids and etc.) formatting was easy though and wish it was just cheaper and had one for 4tb for like idk… $70-$80 for us I mean me (lower class mass majority of the population-_-) but hey I got it on sale so it was coo….

Every external drive I've ever owned failed at some point. But what am I going to do? Either don't own a lot of games or get an external drive. There is a third option, delete and download as needed, but I don't have time for that noise. So like I said, so far so good. Good value, easy to use... quality? I'll give it 5 stars because it hasn't earned less... so far.

Worked fine right out of the box and recognized immediately by my PC running Win10. Was relatively quiet and transferred my files quick enough that I have to complaints. Plays HD MP4 files on my LG C2 TV with no stuttering.

I purchased this storage device to add to my Arlo security system. It was very easy to set up into the system. on three occasions I have reviewed the recordings and they are of excellent quality. With the storage capacity of this device I do not have to worry that it will be for a long time.
In addition to this, I trust a lot on this device since in the past I have had very good experiences with WD brand.

I purchased this so that I have safe place to store my photos. It’s small, light & compact. Plus it’s Western Digital a brand I Trust
