disables my wireless mouse

No instructions or help on the website as far as using it, its my first external hard drive...company should not assume everyone knows how to use it. Tried a couple times to use it but got frustrated. Too late to return so I'm waiting for an opportunity to see if my sister can use it with her Windows 10 computer.
