Very compact and portable it fits just about anywhere. I use it with my MacBook and it works perfectly with Time Machine. Nifty drive beats flash

As I have several of these, this was something to look into. Turned out the windows 10 driver did not see the drive. Further looking revealed all of the external drives drivers had a yellow marker on them. A downloaded driver from WD solved this. I suspect a recent windows update. None of these drives have died, not for eight years now. Best portable drive for moving large amounts of data.
